For more than 40 years, Les Portes du Soleil represent one of the largest ski resort areas in the world, with 12 interconnected stations in France and Switzerland, located about one hour away from Geneva: Abondance, Avoriaz, Châtel, La Chapelle d’Abondance, Les Gets, Montriond, Morzine-Avoriaz, St Jean d’Aulps, Champéry, Morgins, Torgon, Val-d’Illiez- Les Crosets Champoussin. A genuine natural preserve of fine powder in the heart of the Alps, where the skiing enthusiast can practice the sport in a protected environment. The area benefits from exceptional snowfalls from mid-November to the end of April, with an average cumulative snow height of nearly 8 meters on average per year.


The community of Val-d’Illiez, with its two ski stations, les Crosets at 1669 meters and Champoussin at 1588 meters of altitude, are part of the ski resort area of Portes du Soleil, only 15 minutes away by car.


Located only 10 minutes from Thermes Parc by car or 15 minutes by train, Champéry is a postcard-perfect picture of the typical Swiss village, with its well-preserved traditional architecture, culinary riches, and its direct access to Portes du Soleil.
